In the period from June 10 to 13, 2024, a work meeting was held in Bulgaria aimed at exchanging experiences between representatives of the Executive Agency “Certification Audit of European Agricultural Funds” and Audit Authority of Montenegro. During the meeting, the experience of Bulgaria was presented with regard to the audit of European funds to support policies in the area of agriculture, rural areas, fisheries and aquaculture. Audit Authority of Montenegro also presented its experiences in auditing the program of agriculture and rural development. Mutual satisfaction with the workshop and interest in deepening cooperation in the next period was expressed. “The Audit Authority of Montenegro, which conducts audits of financial assistance funds provided by the European Union to Montenegro, including instruments for pre-accession assistance, highly appreciates the expert support it receives through cooperation with member countries.”
The meeting was attended by: Auditor General, Ksenija Barjaktarović; Head of the Department for Audit of Agriculture and Rural Development Program, Rina Mučaj Demirović and authorised auditor of the Department for Audit of Agriculture and Rural Development Program, Marko Tomčić.
