Opening of the Twinning Light Project Strenghtening of the Audit Authority of Montenegro financed by the European Union within the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA 2012) was held on 21st of July at the premises of the Audit Authority. This project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, the Central Government Audit Service. Apart from twinning partners, the representatives of the EU Delegation in Podgorica, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Integration of Montenegro were present at the opening of the project.
The purpose of the project is the assistance to the Audit Authority in establishment of the system and methodology for audit of EU funds in compliance with the international standards of audit and the best practice. The project will last 8 months, and the overall value of the project is 249.254€.
